Is your church in the mission revitalization process through Transforming Churches Network (TCN)? That's what I was thinking of. Meeting with you (and your pastor) to see how that process is going. Or, if you're not, just to meet with you and your pastor, if he is available.
How cool is that? Glad to hear how the Spirit works!
I will be in the North Chicago area, at my brother's church, in October. Maybe we could get together then (or before or after), if you are interested. I would love to meet you and see what God is doing in your ministry.

I would be happy to be involved. I have marked the date in my calendar and plan on attending your meeting in Nov. Let me know if there is anything else that I can do for you.
Pastor Cash.
A week or two ago you sent me a comment about language used in church that was often difficult for people to understand, especially for new Christians. There was also a story about how you were using triads. I seem to have lost that (or it disappeared in cyberspace) or something. Can you resend that to me?
David,
I'm a very early adopter. It's my understanding that my pastor is suppose to begin in August with the revitalization process. At the moment I'm trying to build momentum back towards a missional mindset with our small groups. "The Real Deal" Training, Reproducing, and Deploying missional disciplies with the message of Christ.
It's my hope to begin a grassroots effort as my pastor begins the leadership training. I've pretty much digested the Revitalization Reading List and am very excited about what the Holy Spirit can do not only in our church and others, but in our city.
Thanks for being an early adopter, Penney! You are the first of what we hope will be thousands of individuals to be apart of the TCN social network. Feel free to submit reports and questions about what is going on in your congregational transformation work.

About Me:
Through the Ablaze series I've become the small group coordinator. While we've begun a foundation for outreach, our congregation is grieving the loss of our pastor. I'm praying, Ephesians 3:14-21, for the Lord to give and open the heart of our new pastor. To give him and his family guidance and unlimited resources in leading our church to follow "The God of Mission", Jesus Christ. Whom ever that new leader maybe?

What town are you in?
